In my sexuality Did I forget reality? Did I forget to be in tune with your heart? Is that what makes us always seem to part? Did my mind seem to bind up the love we once shared? Turn it into sadness that's all we seem to have now. Sex use to keep us in the sheets but what happens when you don't want that from the other? Has our life's changed so dramatically that soon you will passively walk by me and not even recognize that I'm the one that loved you through the good times and bad times Did I forget we need to stay connected? Somehow we've become two ships in the night. How did we loose each other. We're caught in the eye of the storm. All seems calm but is it? Is it easier to just let each day pass without a tear? Don't want to say these words to you again. My heart is bleeding now Then if I were to say them again I would surely die. So this you'll never know for surely I have told you a million times Yet I seem subdued Yet you haven't got a clue. [This message has been edited by Rosebud1229 (edited 08-16-2000).] |

Hello Rosebud.... The line..."you haven't got a clue" just hit me so hard in this work! Why is it that the ones closest to us seem to not have any idea of what our needs are? This is such a well-penned poem, and it strikes a very familiar chord with me. Thank you for sharing it! Today is a gift.... That is why they call it 'the Present'! |

Thank you wilfred, ethome and sunny , and your right sunny it seems sometimes the ones closest to us don't have a clue, or maybe it's just that were taken forgranted at times. |

Did I forget we need to stay connected? Somehow we've become two ships in the night. How did we loose each other. We're caught in the eye of the storm. All seems calm but is it? How real you go with this one. Communication breaks sink many relationships and you have presented this so well. Wonderfully written. |
