Always You ~Knight Dreams~ Yes!, It happened from the start. When we were small, and young at heart. Underneath the skies so blue The best in me was always you. You caught me with your very smile. For this has always been your style. And I know you know its true. The best in me was always you. As we grew then in high school. I stood aside and played a fool. I gave you more than just this clue. The best in me was always you. I lived to see you day by day. I traveled paths out of my way. I was there as the cold wind blew. The best in me was always you. Fifteen years from the hands of time. Never kissing you, "My only crime." Baby please, "Catch this cue." The best in me was always you. Together now and never to part. I've loved you from the very start. Days without you will be so few. Because now you know, "The best in me was always you." |
