Upon these faded pages I write with pen and quill, So many scars upon this book that has so many chapters to fill. Mixed with passions It's hard to write with this quill blotted splashes that cover the tears that I spill. Will this make the poets swill or think that I am still aching for something that has long past? The journey goes onward as I sit here and linger within this book that has the present and the past. Still we sit here In much distress torturing our minds in which the soul feeds on In which we drink each page remembering the journey on we continue to go day by day. |

okay-here is my take on this....you broke up the verse but used the lines and you shared with them a family they seek. You have made them better in such a great way that I have no choice but to honor you with gold. Your poem was beautiful and I thank you so much for taking my words to a place I have not been able to. You honor me in such a great way with what you brought to compete. SO here you go with a medal of gold now three more challenges for your stories untold. (still up for it? You surpassed all on your first one....let's try one more.) |
