Though half my age in years she be my inner age she made me see. I held back most of what I felt yet her love made walls begin to melt In her innocence she could not know how my heart could resist that glow She struggled so hard to bring me out kept getting up after every bout I never wanted for her to cry never thought she'd say goodbye but time was not to be a friend it almost brought us to the end Through God's grace there may be hope for one so wonderful and a dope and though I now seem just a friend her heart and soul I strive to mend |

BlindMan~ 'Though half my age in years she be my inner age she made me see' 'though I now seem just a friend her heart and soul I strive to mend' Seems to me that you're no dope ... 'Through God's grace there may be hope' I like the sincerity of the verse. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
