1. Duh 2. Perceptive or aware....having feelings... Jamie Tu ne cede malis, sed contra audentior ito. - Virgil. "Yield thou not to adversity, but press on the more bravely". |

1 - duh for now 2 - not just having feelings, but possessing the ability to know you have them. Off to find out #1 "He looked across the silky surface of the Severn... it was a famously difficult river with fierce tides..." From Jack Maggs |

My guess is "one who objects to repetition" Of course it's just a guess and I wouldn't want to be accused of being a KIBITZER! |

Hmm...I'm not playing this round but I have a feeling that Sudhir is being very sneaky by using these two words! |

I think "awareness" is most apt. The first... I echo the "duh's!" |

hmmm... Was it difficult? I was STUMPED for more than 6 months with obreption... a few years back... SNEAKY is the word Poet deVine, it is !!! in other words that is... let's see how it is... obreption is hiding or being stealthy (in aim of fraud or cheating by being cunning etc), being surreptitious... yes SNEAKY... but not the general kind of "SNEAKY" like in he/she sneaked up on me... which is used in more friendly terms I guess... like some one who came behind you and shouted boohoo in your ear just to alarm you as a small prank ... while "Sentient" I had just came to by accident once when I was looking at sentinel in a what's the good word kind of puzzle in an old newspaper some years back... Sentient can be derived as being perceptive ... better would be having a faculty (ability) to sense and perceive ... so who is the next in like... let's see... ok Jamie, your turn ... regards, sudhir. |
