Hopefully this will be a continuing thread. What's the purpose of this thread? The purpose of this thread is to hopefully provide a list of links in the spirit of the English Workshop.

Most word processors have spell checkers and thesauri on them. However, some of them are very limited. And, there's no telling who might have what! Some people may have processors that don't have those capabilities! But, if they're here, then odds are that they can access the web, (if not, I want to know how they're here!)

So, let's see if we can give some links! I've found several on my own that may be helpful... please add any that you think would be! And I don't think we need to limit them to just spelling. I think that any links which pertain to English, poetry, grammar, spelling, learning, teaching, etc., may be very useful!!!

P.S. - If you don't know how to create a link, please click here or simply type in the URL and I will make it a link for you!

I know I have seen this one here somewhere but for those who haven't found it, Bob's Byway

   web.wwa.com/~rgs/ Bob's Byway

contains an excellent glossary of poetic terms with imbedded hyperlinks showing examples.

What terms shall I find sufficiently simple in their sublimity --
sufficiently sublime in their simplicity --
for the mere enunciation of my theme?
