-last new first full-
What makes rock glow?
You can tell me it's
The hidden sun's light, fine.
But what makes gray
Seem white?

Our gravitational pull,
Equitable tearing apart,
Keeps the moon's first face on us.
What grows on its others?
Are there eyes?

Why is suspended rock
And starburning gas
Such a romantic sight?
Are we celebrating the lives
Of things which never lived?
Floating above us,
They don't care when we die.

The tide is high.
Does that fill your urge to lie?
Such a pull, such a dark
Watery pull.

Oh, my dark, watery pool;
What we can hide.

bsquirrel~ you can hide nothing from the moon. It reflects your heart, you can hide nothing from your heart. I really liked this!   -SEA

Sea,
If you can't hide anything from your heart, why do so many people have heart attacks?   I know, I know; shut up, blacksquirrel.

Serenity,
As long as it appeealed to you in SOME way.

Well the sun sets gently on your shoulders
And it makes me want to touch you there.
And the light in your eyes makes me feel
Like there's something much better out there
Something kind...
And I know someday I might be looking around
Trying to find some purpose
Well purpose it can't be that hard to find
As long as I've got the wind...
The wind and your love to carry me.

Holy crap, JM. Where did THIS come from? I felt a slight jolt seeing this thing here again. Wow, it's been a while. Now, let's watch it die properly and without reservation.
