Verses of love Have evaded me for ages. It seems they may be fleeing Forever. Could it be something in me? Flowing spirits surround me Their battle scars stitched, Healed by others' words and love. Why have I left This field of destruction Trailing behind me; Haunting my thoughts? Did I play too long? My punishment for doing Unto others what they have done to me? Destined to never know What he could mean to me. Bound by this circle Strangling me slowly. |
