 I met the devil down by the sea This is what he had to say to me Would you sell your soul to the devil Would you sell your soul to me For just one night of passion down by the sea He held my hand so tightly and gazed into my eyes And suddenly I felt no fear much to my surprise His voice was like an angle's and his touch as soft as silk I knew this moment was immoral but still I felt no guilt As I slowly succumb to the passion upon the moonlit shore He left as quickly as he came and was gone forever more So the devil he took my soul for all eternity He's got my heart as well and won't give either back to me So the devil he took my soul and he has it to this day One day I'll go to the depth of the earth to retrieve my soul I pray |

Childomine and mm thanks for replying to this piece. I do agree it is a very dark poem, I was just sitting around late one night and it just spilled out one line after the other, I don't know exactly where it came from or why I wrote it...tracie |

So the devil he took my soul and he has it to this day One day I'll go to the depth of the earth to retrieve my soul I pray ~~~ Wear thick soul shoes and learn to hop one foot keep off the floor The upscalators always broke and the minions guard the door ~ take a number you'll be told the line up's headed down A million billion just like you all bunny hopping round ~ When to the front you finally hop the Devil won't have your soul He forgot it back upon the beach In your passion he lost control ~~~  Rex}<{{{{o> |
