Passion friends, today marks a very emotional one for me...and it shows in my writing. Thanks for "listening" to my thoughts and allowing me such a healing outlet. ~ My Anniversary Want If any day you think of me, please let this be the one. A time for peaceful memory- eight years since we've begun. A year ago my world, it flourished. Stability was mine. And now, today, my love's malnourished, our marriage, obsolete defined. "Happy Anniversary, Dear", as sadly I recall, the day we promised, without fear, on each other we would fall. Tides have changed & storms have passed in the matter of only months. On this day from you I ask- please give me this gift, just once. Please tell me that you're sorry for all the pain and strife and all the stressful worry you caused me as your wife. Regret for me, this moment, and remember with silent heart that I was once your soulmate, from whom you hated to depart. Tell me now, words sincere, not fake, of how you miss me so. And tell me that your biggest mistake was allowing me to go. If you could be so generous and ease my aching core by telling me with no hinderance that you will always love me more than her. ~ |

this is excellent..beautifully expressed emotions...hope you find continued healing in your writing...take care, janet marie I love you Is all that you can't say- Years gone by and still... Words don't come easily Like I love you, I love you... But you can say baby... Baby can I hold you tonight Maybe if I told you the right words At the right time you'd be mine... Tracy Chapman |

"...with a little help from my friends..." MAKING IT THROUGH ANOTHER OF GEORGE WASHINGTON'S BIRTHDAYS! Should have known that sharing an anniversary with a dead president's day of birth would not be a sign of good things to come. HAHAHA! Thanks for the support everyone. After today, I vow no more poems about the jerk! |

May each day get brighter and each day you grow stronger, till happiness fills your every hour. Your poem was very sad, yet very well expressed. Thanks for sharing. |

From start to finish this poem opens the readers eyes to the other side of the coin the side we have all been on. The side where your heart and soul tells you that you still love the person but because of what was done to you won't let you go back there. But at the same time you still need that assurence that at one point and maybe even in the present they really love you. I may be way off from what you were thinking but the point i am getting at is i loved the poem keep up the great work. please look at my responce to your last entry on my poem. preach |

This is a beautiful poem January and a heartfelt thought...I too wanted that from someone. I hope you get that I'm sorry from him. Did you see the movie Magnolia? It not romantic and not a love story...it is about problems in peoples lives..the music is lovely, the camera work impressive. I loved the blending of the music and the emotions...and it touched every emotion. I remember 9 years ago when my wife left me and I would go to movies and try to enjoy them and I would start thinking about my pain while I was watching the movie and it would ruin the movie for me. And movies were always an escape for me. It took me at least one year to get past that point. I hope you are past that place. James |
