I remember the times when he seduced me slow/ He wanted perfection and so he went with the flow/ He lured me in with his heart which was the hook/ And enticed me with his mind which was the line/ I still bare the scar from my Valentine/ Or was he just my Casanova/ Because I wasn't the only woman who had let him get over/ Gallantly attentive to all of our needs/ Assuming that I was fulfilling/ But I couldn't satisfy his greed/ Sometimes I laugh because I wanted him back at any cost/ But the next fool can have him because it wasn't my loss/ |

This is just to inform people that I am new on this site, I have been writing poems for a very long time and a friend informed me about this site. She told me that there are very interesting poets in these forums and that I should expose some of my own works, so I did. please feel free to critique my works, I would appreciate it. Thank You! Mystery- will always get my vote for strong signals of "was not my loss". This is an affirmation of healing and moving past a "not so great" experience. RIGHT ON! |

mystery, I admire the emotion, especially the strength of your resolve...I wish only that I had your capability to direct love, command it and own it, as you appear to do...Instead, I fear that love owns ME, and I live at the whim of its' mercy. Nice work. Welcome. |
