Trapped trapped, I am always a victim Entangled in the web of life Drained of all feelings This pain cuts me like a knife Confused and frightned I don't know what to do My arms and legs are bound How could this be true My mind is like a maze With many ways to turn I went the wrong way When will I ever learn Scared and insecure Like a lost and lonley child This feeling of terror It's driving me wild Take a strand from this web Spin me away from this wrap Free is where I want to be Far away from this evil trap |

The spider of life has caught me a few times along the way. May I say, without sounding cliche, that being scared can sometimes make us stronger. Make us better people. I don't know what else to say, that hasn't been said before. Again, I like the raw honesty that comes forth in your poetry and I will continue to look for more. |
