Father and Son ***************** "Da da...?" His eyes light up at the sound of your voice his grin widens at the sight of your smile with arms outstretched he toddles toward you you are his hero the one he looks up to your son adores you he idolizes you he will always need you your son loves you his love is unconditional through every up and down when you have a bad day his laugh can turn it around I smile as I watch you two play baby games all day he may not remember these early days "but that's okay," you say "I love my son more than life itself; I'll love him 'til he's 110. I'll be with him forever, and along the way, we can make new memories then." His eyes light up his grin widens he leans into your open arms and breathes a contented sigh: "Da da." |

Awwwww... How sweet well done. Children can be so magical, can't they? I am not a poet, I am merely one who speaks in emotion |

There is no poem I like better than those that can take me back to the day`s when my kid`s were babies. The memories last a life time but sometime`s we get so caught up in the race that they slip away for a moment. Thank you for taking me back for a moment in time. Nice job |

Cute poem...these times are precious. Kids grow up so fast it seems... |
