He's gone for the weekend beach strolling He loves the feel of sand between his toes peace of the rolling waves under the moonlight Said he would look at the moon and think of her... Would she of him? Standing on her front porch Lunar kisses light upon her upturned face as she searches the skies An endless blanket of ebony velvet elegantly patterned with heavens souls shimmering soft whispers She surrenders to the gentle night dreaming of a distant moon Floating away for a wistful moment she joins him and feels the sand between her toes….. Freedom of expression is the watch word... |

this is perfect...lovely imagery... very enjoyable to read...well expressed emotions. take care, janet marie Now for me some words come easy... But I know that they don't mean that much Compared with the things that are said when lovers touch. You never knew what I loved in you-- I don't know what you loved in me... Maybe the picture of somebody you were hoping I might be... How long have I been sleeping- How long have I been drifting alone through the night... How long have I've dreaming I could make it right... If I closed my eyes and tried with all my might To be the one you need... Jackson Browne |

Janet Marie... Thank you very much... ) Marge... I'm on new ground here...I started writing less than a year ago...with heartbreak as my only inspiration...then fantasies of what I wanted... So I'm plodding along...(mostly posting old poems )..while I expand into new territories.. Thanks so much for your encouragement! *HUG* Freedom of expression is the watch word... |

The warm soft sands caressing my soul. The oceans tides washing away residue. Nature's cleansing rebirth from above. I love your poem, it inspired me deeply, thank you for sharing it here for my eyes to delight, my senses to feel, and my mind to encounter a beautiful journey. |

Oh gosh....I just love the feeling of walking alone on a beach just as the tide settles back...leaving only my own footprints behind me, like a trail of lonely memories only to be washed away by the next tide to make a new slate for the next lonely dreamer to make his tracks..... Thanks for a truly lovely read... Chris Never be a carbon copy of anybody...make your own impressions. - ANON. |

So romantic and lovely, Breathe. I could picture the silver sands and the bright moon wonderfully. Thank you for the lovely read. *Krista Knutson* "Every moment marked with apparitions of your soul...." ~*Sarah McLachlan- Do What You Have To Do*~ |
