White horse, moonlight-- inviting tonight-- silver-tipped fog delight-- gun-metal, slipping in and out-- savor taste desired... next-best-thing to a silent shout-- feeling now expired. A rose in full, drops a petal-- then yearns to be all together. |

wayoutwalt, you are not that way out... Glad I could strike a chord... Marge: I am always thrilled to hear from you. Happy, a bit, that you caught the sensuality of it all, but it is RELUCTANT sensuality... |

I've read this a few times and feel something different everytime. Not sure how to describe it but like what it does to me. Well Done Rich |

Ali....this is sooooooo serendipitous of you. I was just telling a Pipfriend that I really don't care for my own words, but that I've written a couple of lines that I don't hate so much. What you quoted above is exactly what I'd quoted to him--and I probably like that line because it so aptly describes how I feel about myself... I think that most people have figured out that beneath all of my jokes and humor, there is an underground river of sadness and regret. I used to imagine being someone else, but then, what would become of baby Karen, eh? *hearthugs* Only someone who feels that same pain would choose such a line. I want you to know that I think you're lovely, inside and out. Thank you for digging through the archives to reach through the screen to find...me. |
