If I can take my pen in hand- And take you to a distant land. Or with my words bring forth a tear Or make you feel, or make you hear- A whippoorwill, or robin sing- Or see the blossoms Born of Spring..... Or let you feel my heart and mind And tell of things I’ve left behind. Or paint a scene of desert land... To where you, too, can see the sand- And watch the sun sink in the West And make you also long to rest- Astride your horse, on canyon rim- Behold the beauty wrought by Him! And let you see things through my eyes I guess that I might well surmise... In spite of barbs cast by the rest- If you’re inspired, I have success. Excellent verse. Enjoyed this very much! "You never have to worry...Never fear for I am near" |

Hi Gunslinger, This poem is great and needs to be on the front page I believe. I look forward to more of your work I think it might be a very wonderful ride. Cerenity-1 |

Yet again another wonderful tapestry of words. I like it, and yes, you do! "Glory remains unaware of my neglected dwelling where alone I sing my tearful song which has charms only for me." -Charles Brugnot |
