A Valentine I've breathed the essence of the man you are The sweetest and most loving scent by far A fragrance so enriching and sublime My every breath is in this Valentine My tongue in thirst has tasted of its goal And sipped from out the wellspring of your soul Savoring a purity so fine Now from my well I send this Valentine My lips have garnered kisses for your claim That every moment whisper out your name Bewitched am I by wonder of its chime I send a kiss within this Valentine My mind engraved a vision of your face The inner eye has held it in embrace A portrait of a countenance divine My joy is mirrored in this Valentine So here's a kiss, a whisper, an embrace My breath, my soul, my vision of your face This is the message of a Valentine It means that I am yours and you are mine So let me celebrate our love this way I wish for you a Happy Valentines Day Elizabeth Santos [This message has been edited by Elizabeth Santos (edited 02-14-2000).] |
