Someone loving me would be worth so much.
How could I ever be worthy of such?
There is a lock on all hearts, one holds the key.
I don't think any were given to me.
How could I have a key to any heart?
I'm no artist, and that is quite an art.
I could try to pick the lock of one,
But the rejection that followed would not be fun.
All hope for me was misplaced,
But was there any hope in the first place?
Time to stop fooling myself, amd face the facts.
The key to any heart I will always lack.
