Throw away that clock, and watch it as the hands fall to the floor. And I don’t know I just can’t seem to take it any more. Laughing at broken hands, that never seem to be on my side. And as the trains go by, I wish that, wish that I could run and hide. But I just can’t run away. And I just can’t forget, forget that lovely day. I don’t care if I ever see. Cause I just can’t bring… Bring myself back to me. Burning up the photographs, that capture memories of the past. Close your eyes, run away, for I promise, this ain’t never gonna last. Passing by the psycho-house, and that is where, maybe where I should be, cause every where I look, she is all, all that my eyes can see. But I just can’t run away. And I just can’t forget, forget that lovely day. I don’t care if I ever see. Cause I just can’t bring… Bring myself back to me. Say goodbye to the one, that truly knows just who you are. Take out and rinse off that pain of mine, no it won’t ever leave a scar. As I leave you now I wonder, just what it takes to be friends. And I ask myself, where, where we’ll be when this all ends. But I just can’t run away. No I just can’t seem to forget. Forget that sunny day. Don’t give a damn if I ever see. No, I just can’t bring…. Bring myself back to me. |

I feel your anguish in this piece and what a piece it is. Truly great writing here Jeffrey |
