Night succumbs
      To days embrace
            Winds song becomes
                       Just a trace

         And in this
             Quiet
         I think of you

Lavender blue
      Tears from my eyes
             Sweet longing are
                  My lonely sighs

        And with these
             Tears
          I cry for you

The breeze sweeps
        Across my face
              As night succumbs
                    To days embrace

             And in this
                 Quiet
               I need you

shhhhh Poet D just wrote the most beautiful poem..its perfect...
but she is over there in the
lovely quiet of her poem...
Ill tell her later how much I loved this.
perfect PD(smile)

Well the sun sets gently on your shoulders
And it makes me want to touch you there.
And the light in your eyes makes me feel
Like there's something much better out there
Something kind...
And I know someday I might be looking around
Trying to find some purpose
Well purpose it can't be that hard to find
As long as I've got the wind...
The wind and your love to carry me.

Hushed, lovely, flowing words, PDV.  Almost like a gentle whisper...truly beautiful.

deVine, were you on my balcony last night?

This is wonderful. . .I can feel the wind and see the pinks and lavenders meshing into a final red of last light. . .

Excellent!!

I felt goose bumps, it was so sweeping, and vivid, and flowing.
