~Once Touched By You~

Your touch is like oxygen ...
it alone allows me to breathe.
You are all I require,
You are all I receive.
Like the miracle of morning rain,
allows a fragile rose to grow ...
Like the warmth of the midday sun,
your touch grants my inner glow.
I feel your essence ever near ...
I inhale and take you in.
Your touch grants my existence,
now no longer able to see ... where you end ... and I begin.

And the light in your eyes makes me feel
Like there's something much better out there
Something kind...
And I know someday I might be looking around
Trying to find some purpose

Some people search a lifetime for the feeling of where they end and the love of their life begins. I gave up searching

but for beautiful poems such as this. Lovely JM.
