~Winds Of Change~

Poetic winds blow ... now sweetly swept away,
carry me to the place in you ... so that I might stay.
Safe passage to your harbors ... sail across your seas,
breath in all your pleasures ... set my spirit free.

Poetic winds blow ... gentle breezes take my will,
carry me to the place in you ... where time stands still.
Take me so far away ... to discover your beaches of sand,
under your starry skies ... I rise up ... heart in my hand.

Poetic winds blow ... quietly taken into the night,
carry me to the place in you ... warmed by desires light.
Bathe me in your mystical waters ... sun dry me on your shore,
caress me with your winds of change ... allow my heart to soar.

Poetic winds blow ... lift me up, now Heaven bound,
carry me to the place in you ... where contentment is found.
Fly with me in twilight skies ... painted in hues by the setting sun,
as we fly free towards the rising moon ... two souls become one.

Janet,

Like the break-up style. It reminds me of some things I did years ago. Nice for a change. I'll have to check my archives. Thanks for your "re" on beseeched.

Janet Marie,
I must say I just love the way you broke the lines....wonderful!!!  It is as if the winds are blowing your words on the screen.  I can feel the poetic winds blowing right now.  This is beautiful!!  Gives me hope of finding the same.

Janet. . .

This is wonderful. . . I read this poem three times. . . once across, once just reading the words on the left and the third time just reading the words on the right. . .

I don't know if you meant this poem to be that way. . . but I saw it right away. . . and think that it's wonderful. . .

Your inspiration definitely shows in this one. . . lucky person he!!!

I have felt the same as if writing poetry would "set my spirit free" and "allow my heart to soar."  Writing helps me to feel my feelings and declare the things my heart wants to share.   James

Such style and class,

Fly with me in twilight skies ... painted in hues by the setting sun,
as we fly free towards the rising moon ... two souls become one.

and most of beauty.  Such beautiful poetry my friend.

Janet Marie~
This is exceptional quality work.
I am captivated with the
poems-within-the-poem.

Left to right
Left side - Right side
Every two lines 1-2, 1-2, 1-2, 1-2
and then 3-4,3-4,3-4,3-4
even did it from the bottom up
using the reverse two line scheme.

Whoa !  Refreshingly different !

Wow.  Yet again I am blown over by your fantastic work, so much so, I can't think of anything else to say.  Thanks for being so brilliant!

Janet,
Wow!  I must say, you have taken my breath away, then given it back in a completely different way.  Instead of breathing just "air"  I can feel the "poetic winds" around me now!   Exceptional job!

Simply Beautiful.  Love the way this is set up.  Agree with Sven, reads so well anyway you look at it.  Even turned it upside down and was just as good (smiling)

I love this style you do when you do it, if that makes sense. I have saved this one, and don't mind me - just dusting shelves down here and saving a few keepers.
