The Poetry Of Hearts

Another stolen moment lost in time
And one more precious shortened interlude.
Again the taste of love's exquisite rhyme,
The poetry of hearts, refreshed, renewed.
Although you've gone your essence lingers still
And warms me with the sweetest memory,
Of love and our surrender to its will,
Of pleasures tinged with playful mystery.
The agony of untold hours alone
Is tempered by the love we shared last night,
And so the seeds of rapture surely sown
Must burst in fragrant blossoms of delight.

Sustained and patient, lest to miss the chance
For moments measured solely in romance.

If you don't mind a masculine point of view,
Very nicely done.  You do have a way with the sonnet.

*SIGH*

well, its official...your are the
sonnet prince...
and you wear your crown with grace (smile)
divine...
take care, jm

Well the sun sets gently on your shoulders
And it makes me want to touch you there.
And the light in your eyes makes me feel
Like there's something much better out there
Something kind...
And I know someday I might be looking around
Trying to find some purpose
Well purpose it can't be that hard to find
As long as I've got the wind...
The wind and your love to carry me.
