**Midst the Haze** Soul denied, shamefully so- As in truth, pigment grows… ****************************** Shine at night, my hidden star- Reap a distance, if by far… ****************************** Shattered bits, remnants remain- As ancient valentine’s disdain… ****************************** Wilted petals, upon sullen cheek- Of all havoc, love shall reap… ****************************** Questioned eyes, don simple gaze- Lucks forgets me, midst the haze Open arms can be the most fragile in the world... |

Shine at night, my hidden star- Reap a distance, if by far… --------- this is perfect devina... so very good. like the presentation as well. love your signature...have i told you that before?? lol take care, jm Well the sun sets gently on your shoulders And it makes me want to touch you there. And the light in your eyes makes me feel Like there's something much better out there Something kind... And I know someday I might be looking around Trying to find some purpose Well purpose it can't be that hard to find As long as I've got the wind... The wind and your love to carry me. vertical horizon |

i don't think luck has much do do with it, Love. It's about love, honor, and trust, of which you know you have all I have to offer. I hope that is enough. Michael |

Devina...luck may have forgotten you, but your muse most certainly didn't with this one. Very nicely written...love the final lines To love means never to be afraid of the windstorms of life: should you shield the canyons from the windstorms you would never see the true beauty of their carvings. ~Elizabeth Kubler-Ross |

The Lovely Devina has written lovely verse here...sad, tho,--sending smiles across the miles, 'sis'...love to you. |

i can feel the pain in this piece. isn't it amazing to have a phone, a computer, all types of ways to connect, and still loneliness wins out over the rest? i went thru a cycle where all i wrote was sad poems for like 4 years. a friend challenged me to write a happy poem, and amazingly so, it has helped me feel better. just try it, hon. |
