Wishing you were here... Have you ever closed your eyes so tight And wished on every star that night For time to pass, For the days to go by For without his love you're lonely inside. When I look out the window I can't help but stare At the very same moon that's over there. The very same stars, the very same sky I begin to wonder "Am I really gonna cry"? I've never noticed how very dear Your love means to me. I've possibly even taken for granted What God has given me. He's given me you With no strings attached. He's given me you And I almost sent you back! I was angry inside... And nobody knew. I was jealous inside And I didn't know what to do. Who could I tell? I thought you would never understand.
