Words of silence echo through this lonely room The sound of her voice filling it with gloom I'll never know why she left me standing in the rain Crying tears of emptiness is driving me insane All I wanted was to love her never wanted to see her cry But the day that she walked out I felt my heart had died ************************************ (continued) The pain has subsided now This seems like years ago But I will never forget her That's one thing I know I trusted her with my heart And she took part of it away That part has yet to be replaced Even to this day I say it is better to have loved and lost Than to have never loved at all Cause even when we stumble The ride is worth the fall I know there's someone out there Just waiting for me And someday I will find her Cause it is meant to be This is a continuation of Words Of Silence written several years after the fact.
