Immortals II If I could define my age to thee Just one word Id say maturity If I dared dream about my youth Its absurdity would be the truth I have aged still not enough Traces of gray no meaningless bluff Of a coming promise a more royal soul That flees from youth to reach its goal And listened to my heart as it sings Of the freedom that eternity brings But if I am old how can it be A heart so youngs inside of me Mystery of time how could I know That when I age my youth doth grow To heights mere eyes forbidden to see To easy count infinity And contentedly smile as time strolls by It grasps my hand I touch the sky Lance Elam Lance T Elam |

Thurman, This is well done. I experience the same thing. I cannot deny the passing time as I look into the mirror...but yet, if I close my eyes I am still young at heart. Keep the Faith! INclan |
