Will I be remembered?
This plaguing question,
will I be remembered
when I am gone?

Have I done anything,
helped anyone, am I
worthy to be remembered
after I leave this world?

Dreams are out of grasp,
Hopes are dimming
All I wish to have done
Something worthwhile.

Is my life in vain,
These questions
nagging at me day and night
Have I made an Impact?

Just a fading Image,
do people really notice me?
Can they see what is inside
of this humble exterior?

Pain is what I know
has it helped in preventing
Pain in those I care for
or do I cause more?

Bothersome Questions,
Will I ever know the answers?
I pray to know the answer,
Will I be Remembered?

The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, not the kindly smile, not the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone believes in him and is willing to trust him with his friendship."

dhuron,

what better way to achieve immortality than to rise each morning and write something...

In life's overflowing book of treasures...
We all hold a piece of a page...
Yours will surely be read over and over until the end of time

I like the questioning in this~
I think we all wonder about our departure from this life~
We all will ask those questions at some point~

Nicely written~

Daniel,
       this is excellent!

You will be remembered, my friend. . . by those who love and care about you. . . not a day will go by that someone somewhere will stop what they're doing for just a moment and ask themselves, "Gee, I wonder what ever happened to Daniel?"
