Pride, resentment, and anger sat down for tea Anger said "Pride, I am glad you were free". Pride smiled with hope then looked away "what do you think of me anyway?" "How could you ask that?" anger exlaimed. Pride still wouldn't looked, but somehow felt shamed. "Oh, your too good, too good for me" anger's emotion now totally free. Pride stood up said "have a good one", leaving anger with resentment until tea was done. |

Christie, I love third personas and imagery. I think you should have taken this one and run with it. |

Lucky, thanks. Funny you should say that. I wrote this waiting for the water to boil. Later I thought that it may be fun to take it further. I may try again someday (like when I am baking some bread)... |

I think you've got a neat concept and a good beginning here. Try working on it more while the bread's baking, you need at least that long to knead this into shape. It will be worth it, I think. |

Christie- This is just wonderful. It says so much about the liasion of the three. 'Pride goeth before the fall' of anger and resentment. Put the tea kettle on gal. This one is simmering ! Can smell that bread baking ! ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
