It just wasn’t meant to be It isn’t in the stars That we should be together now But maybe this will change And we can be together In another time, another place Another life I know my love will last And in this new life, I may deserve you And fate will be kind enough To let me have your love You’ll be changed in this new life, also You won’t be so cold, so cunning So cruel to those who love you I’ll be beautiful in your eyes In another time, another place Another life You may not know it now But love is a surprise, as we all know We will both be surprised with this love In another time, another place Another life Farewell, my love I’ll see you again Another time, another place Another life "We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars." -Oscar Wilde |
