Delicate are his thoughts that swathe my mind Alluring are his words that pervade my ears, Never to truly know his poetic soul. Naked my senses become to his rhythmic tongue Yearning...yearning for one more verse. Ok, tell me you like it Danny... Do I like it??? How could I not??? You honor me with such wonderful words. I have received many responses to poems that i have written, but this poem has greater personal meaning than anything written previously. THANK YOU for making my day (as Clint would say) I'm smiling big time with this. What a fantastic line this is: "Naked my senses become to his rhythmic tongue". I must get busy and satisfy that yearning for more verse. I'm curious about the OR ELSE. Sounds intriguing! |

marie, this is so sensual and perfect...VERY nice...and if it inspires our danny-boy to write us more poems... then it's even better...he hasnt posted a new one in a bit... see Danny...ya got us ALL begging and drooling... (smile) beautiful poem marie, all joking aside The stars shine so bright, now's the time I close my eyes - soft wind touch my face, Cool sand upon the place where I once kissed you And held you close. Now I will reach for the stars... Because Oh my love, that's where you are... Though the storms of black night rage on I still see your face I still feel your lips on mine And though my heart feels all alone without you I still hear you sing to me I still hear your voice on the sea... vertical horizon |
