Of all the things you could have done To hurt me, to break me You had to go and do Just what I never thought you would I had my suspicions I had my doubts But I never thought I'd see the day That I would figure this intent out I know that there's someone else I've seen and had the proof fall in my lap You can't deny it any longer. I can't bear to ask you why Because I already know the response "I don't know" I've heard it a million times before "I don't know" Just a denial You said you never wanted to hurt me So why lie to me? Why take me and bend me over And rape my soul of it's dignity? You tell me I shouldn't be the victim You say I should trust in you You say I shouldn't worry Well, what else did you expect me to do? I knew something was going on I knew there was another Why did you have to wait Until I fell in love with you To reveal the you that you knew you were Why did you wait For my heart to belong to you To shred it apart Like it was nothing..nothing...NOTHING TO YOU! I would cry but the tears would be wasted Like they have been many a times for you You wouldn't care, it wouldn't make a difference So I guess this means we're through Or would you like to walk on me some more Tell me you love me, it will never happen again Tell me there's no one else, Tell me you only have eyes for me Well, you don't need your eyes to love another You don't need your bed to be infatuated You don't need me anymore So why keep me around? Why keep me bound To your painful lies why keep me here When you know I'm in hell Why keep me at all When you know you feel nothing nothing for me at all.......... ~Sorrows I am almost at a loss of words. This was so poetically tragic. I could feel the emotions behind every word. Your pen captured all the feelings in your heart and soul. Nice writing...very vivid...you know I am going thru something very similar and I thought the most important issue is to take care of myself...what is important to me in a relationship..I decided it would be trust and admiration. When this person who's name I will not mention had an affair I completely lost my trust and I certainly cannot admire her for that behavior...so nothing is left except the pain and the anger...and life must go on..and it took me a long time to accept this position. Just my opinion...James |
