Do you remember? Have you already forgotten The magic between us? The feel of my hand in yours, The way your eyes spoke to me In a single glance I’ve memorized your touch Your taste All stored in the album of my mind Pages that will never fade Can you recall the heat Fire Passion That kept us burning the midnight oil? When you’d wake me in the still of night Just to make love to me once again? Reminisce upon our memories When the sunsets were always golden And the rain never fell Let your mind wander through the past Back to the time When you held me in your arms And touched my face Do you remember? Because I know I’ll never forget |

This is so sad, Tara. Sometimes people forget because they choose to. You have expressed your pain very well here. Elizabeth "He have his goodness now. God forbid I take it from him!" -The Crucible |

Tara~ This just happens to be a lovely romantic poem .. full to overflowing with longing and sentimental thought. 'Let your mind wander through the past Back to the time When you held me in your arms And touched my face Do you remember? Because I know I’ll never forget' Those memories do hang in there ! Beautiful. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Suthern, I loved your poem. I once longed for a married man and know the feelings that you speak of. Nan and Ruth, it's nice to be back! I was gone way too long. Elizabeth and Corazon, no pain here, just a gentle reminder at what we once shared (and hopefully will again). Denise, Danny, Liz and Marge, thank you for commenting.
