Rose-Coloured Glasses They don’t understand That you have hung the moon You take me higher then a hot-air balloon When we make love in our private lagoon They don’t see Your game of deceit, is only an illusion To add to the confusion But I know, love is the final conclusion They think You, I can not trust That it is simply lust Be rid of you, I must I know You’re nothing but heartache, alas My misery you push till surpasses But not through my rose-coloured glasses Marina Apr. 3 2000 |
