It's like a love I couldnt have seen, Lost beneath my deepest dreams, A kind that breaks and hurts me so, Lies linger inside, to much to show. It's like a time long before, When I found myself standing at your door, A smile and a heartache fading away, Lost inside our yesterdays. It's like a shadow of a doubt, That turns my very soul about, To face you in the sweetest way, Regardless of the price to pay. It's like a fairytale wrapped up tight, Somewhere beneath my tears tonight, Forming soft within your hands, Swallowing whole, our cherished plans. It's like an essence still and tired, Cold and harsh, still worth my while, A lessened pain would set me free, Still this is where I choose to be. Deep inside a fragrant love, That I have asked for just enough, To let us be here just as one, Together forever, whatever comes. I loved this one.......... Great use of emotion and it describes how I'm feeling at this very moment....(Don't tell anyone, but it also brought a tear or two up). Wonderful Job! |

thanks so much to all of you i havent had much time lately but thought i would share what i do with all of you. Marge- thanks so muh i missed you to , tell your husband i said hello. Best wishes to you both. Lucky- Very Cute, good to see you also. Nice to know that I've been missed! Terry & Sorrow- Your compliments are very appreciated. I have been gone so long i have missed a lot of people that started writing. I'll try to catch up, Im sure you are both wonderful poets as is every one here. |
