~My Waking Breathe~ < !signature-->You are there holding me~ Holding my soul which weeps~ You grasp my pain, making it your own~ You caress my soul tenderly, lovingly~ You are there waking me~ Assurance to pain fleeting~ You kiss my brow slowly, gently~ Your love is my waking breathe~ "Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind; And therefore is wing'd Cupid painted blind." Short but very sweet. I love this poem. I hope you don't mind, but I'm going to send it to my boyfriend (giving you full credit, of course). It totally expresses that wonderful yet sometimes complicated emotion we call love. Keep up the wonderful work, I will look for you on here often! |
