SATIATED

I have a dream, it calls to me,
Lures me through the night.
A star in gleam, it falls to me,
This moment, all is right.

I float, I fly, in dream in dance
Knowing her heart is mine.
If by an eye naked to chance
Though taken by its shine.

Drifting away by solemn stare
Through pools of green and gray.
Emotions sway by the affair
To her teasing bouquet.

A touch, a kiss, a feeling shared,
Tingled with butterflies.
By sweet remiss, by passion dared,
Mingled to love's surprise.

As hand to hand, we twirl, we spin,
We bleed the lover's touch.
To understand this whirl within
A need needed so much.

Never a word touching the lips
Thereby obscured through lust.
By song unheard the passion drips,
Whereby is cured all trust.

In gentle arms, now lay asleep,
Enfolded evermore.
By softest charms, all while I weep
To hold what I adore.

Hope that ne'er flies by come of dawn
Or morning's dewy mist.
But shines glints of forever drawn
To eyes I can't resist.

*I will hold your words in dream...till tomorrow comes...*

You've touched my heart deeply with this Michael...I couldn't ask for anything more, than what I've found in you...

Michael~
This is indeed a lovely render from
a heart that is full of anticipation.

'Hope that ne'er flies by come of dawn
Or morning's dewy mist.
But shines glints of forever drawn
To eyes I can't resist.'

Have a wonderful weekend ...
there is a KARMA in the air.
Love ya'

Wow, Michael...this is extraordinarily beautiful, I am quite taken by it!

A stanza in particular that caught my eye, and wouldn't let go:

In gentle arms, now lay asleep,
Enfolded evermore.
By softest charms, all while I weep
To hold what I adore.

What lovely musings you have floating around in that mind!    Well done as always, my friend.

Soft, gentle, and exquisite Michael.  This flows wonderfully and has a great romantic feel. Exellent work, my friend.
