We Shall Meet Again By: Amy M. Kennedy Eternal heaven is now where you rest With God in the divine kingdom of power Your leaving my life, has been my ultimate test I miss the love that use to be in my life, like an ever-present flower It has taken me years to fully understand Nights I cried myself softly to sleep However you've never left me, you still reach out your hand That is why I can smile, even as I weep Your love filled our lives with such peace and grace I was only a child, unable to put into words the things I wanted to say Inside my heart will always be your home, your own special place Now I am a woman, so I now I want to tell you so much, now TODAY Thank you does not even begin to say how I feel Your unselfish ways, and ever -lasting love touched my life more than I can say The first time we met, that day in the park, my heart you did steal Even though I yelled at you several times, you never went away You stood by me when no one else would Teaching me so many things about the world that we live in You gave me a home, my heart, a love so pure when noone else could You told me honey all the secrets of your life, are secured in your heart...deep within Now as I sit, thinking of our past memories I can't help but smile Even though sometimes it’s hard to breathe because I miss you so much I now realize that you and I will only be apart for a little while Our souls will rejoin in heaven, where once again I will feel your touch Mom, I know that I never said it near enough However, I think being you, you already knew I am saying it now...thank you for your love, and I thank God above For allowing a lost kid and a woman who so wanted a child to share such a wonderful love As I go through my life, not a day goes by that I don't think of you Soon I will be graduating from college, something I've wanted since I was a little girl Who would have thought I'd have accomplished so much, you that is who The years have gone by in such a hurried whirl You brought out in me the very best that I could be I will remember you for always, my angel in heaven and on Earth Holding my head up high, remembering whose daughter I am, I will make the world see That I am someone special....I am Amy Michelle Kennedy ~Live today as though it were your last but prepare for tomorrow as though it were here~ |

somethings are better the second time around somethings need to be seen again, to be felt again...  love ya, jm she said I dont know if I've ever been good enough, and I'm a little bit rusty, and I feel like my head is caving in. ...and I dont know if I've ever been really loved by a hand thats touched me... and I feel like somethings gonna give... and I'm a little bit angry. matchbox20 |
