Spastic Surgery

I was perplexed.
I couldn't see
why it annoyed me so,

that Michael Jackson
let a blade
sculpt out some look he chose.

This choice is one
that's personal
and harmless, as things go.

But I was raised
to feel disgust
when someone picks their nose.
