Moments of Love

I try to bring out the best in you,
for truly I am the one,
blessed with your smile and your laugh,
us together, you warm me like the sun.

And if I could I would take moments,
such as these, and hold them in my heart,
and trace your lips and hear your voice,
us together, whenever we're apart.

Thank you all for your replies. I was away for awhile reading Harry Potter books--but one night I stopped by and read some of the most wonderful poems, and I wondered why I left. Thanks again. You encourage me.

Marge, I appreciate your reply because I love your work. Actually I was unsure of "us together". It seemed reduntant to me, but repetition is ubiquitous. And then, there are some "us" not connected together. So ...
