Firm of body and of mind He's the finest of the fine. Wise, mature, assured, and charming A rapier wit that's quite disarming Doesn't readily suffer fools But with friends, forgiveness rules. Dedicated, understanding Impatient, he can be demanding. His integrity is without equal He's unselfish, truthful, moral Loves his family with all his heart Devoted, faithful, funny, smart. He's kind and brave, loving and sharing Makes me laugh with frustrated swearing. Patriotic to the very core Honorable, wonderful, and so much more. An incredible personality Accepting of those less blessed than he. Attractive (okay, gorgeous! *G*) talented, sincere Encouraging, perceptive, and so very dear He listens and cares and always extends Compassion and support to his friends. Strong, yet gentle, he's humorous And always shares a smile with us. Multi-talented, super-intelligent Honest, generous, magnificent! He's everything a man should be Respectful, likable, and oh, so sweet Ambitious but considerate Sensitive and passionate. This may not have 50 compliments But each day I know he's heaven sent To brighten my life and so I send Birthday greetings to my best friend. Happy Birthday, sweetie.... SMOOCH!  |

In other words, Ruth, you think he's an ok guy?? I hate it when you beat around the bush!!! We all don't have the pleasure of knowing him as well as you, but I have no doubt every word you say is true. It's an honor being an ARCH-rival to a TOE! Geez, we should open a shoe store or something! It's a wonderful poem, Suthern, to an equally deserving man. Thank you |
