Can You And I?

Can you begin at the base
of my mountain
slowly climb till reaching the cliff
at the utmost top?
If I suggested you jump would you,
could you,
or would you hold onto what you
started with till the end?

Could you deep sea dive the depths
of my ocean
concurring the schools of fish
currently in control?
Would you drown if my oceans depth
was to deep
or would you rise to the surface for air
now and then?

Can you diagnose and repair my computer's
main frame
replacing mother board and ram memory
gone bad?
Will it require erasing all the memories
of the past
to reboot and start my repaired main frame
all over again?

Can a locksmith you become unlocking
stubborn doors
or are keys a hindrance to you
preferring openness?
If I locked myself out would you
come rescue me
or would your priorities leave me
finding other measures?

Would you allow me to scale your mountain
memorizing every ridge
bungee jump within your security till daylight
turns to night?
Could I reach the peak and still see
the beautiful valley below
through eyes that embrace nature
piece by piece?

Can I surf the tides of your ocean
starting with the highest
as it's intense wave caresses
my imagination?
Could I savor the lowest tide caressing
the evening
relaxed in the softness of the sandbar
below the water's rule?

Can I play on the keys of your computer
make them come alive
with the touch of my fingertips
creating romance?
Can my computer and your computer
network together
creating a powerful mega force
no one can corrupt?

Can I become a master key
in your life
unlocking all the closed doors
so freedom can reign?
Can I use my key to unlock
our fantasy's
making way for two single worlds
to become one?

Can you and I climb the tallest mountain
together hand in hand
guiding each other through the journey
like there's no tomorrow?
Can you and I hang glide over the valley
below our sky line
floating away further into our destiny
forever together?

LostDreamer~
This is an intricately woven tapestry
of feeling.
Absolutely stunning.
I've read it three times already ...
and I just love it.
Very, very creative ...
and I might venture to say ...
a piece from the depth of your soul.

Wow, Gloria! I am really impressed by this one. You took great thoughts and wove them together expertly to create a piece of writing to be proud of, for sure.

Can my computer and your computer network together? Well, I've got the Mac if you've got the Gateway

Poet deVine: Thank You very much, it was interesting to write.

Marge: Thank You, thank you, thank you, I'm glad you loved it, and yes it came from the deepest of my soul. These would be my thoughts if I were looking today.

Balladeer:Thank You deeply, when you tell me one of my poems are good I take it to heart cause of the talented man you are, you brought a smile to my face Sir. I think a Mac would stumble all over a Hewlett, no Gateway yet.

Gloria, I think this is one of the very best pieces you've written. You've painted a picture with words interweaving your feelings with events and imagery. Nicely done, my friend.
