Cover the outlets hide the cords
My baby's first footsteps today
All the windows cover with boards
My baby's first footsteps today

Net Nannie the net or you beware
My baby's first footsteps today
You'll see him at Passions posting there
Gaa gaa goo goo his poems will say

Hide the liquor and windex up high
My baby's first footsteps today
Label them well maybe he's sly
My baby's first footsteps today

Put away things easy to break
My baby's first footsteps today
My babyproof house I must make
But to the Lord I will just pray

Cute! These are the best times! Everything he finds now will be brand new..it's a great way to see the world, through the eyes of a baby taking his first steps. Sweet poem, Walt.

I can tell the excitement you are feeling in this poem, as I feel it for you also. I saw the title and got a warm fuzzy feeling immediately. Excellent job, and a gigantic congratulations from me, and I can't wait to see his first poem posted here even if it is goo goo ga ga...LOL

And now the fun begins!  An expert in babyproofing you will now be! When you go visit friends, you'll be moving their stuff
automatically!

Great little poem, and congradulations! Only 17 years more!

Now the fun begins!! LOL been there, 3 times...well 4 but the last one wasn't mine.

Latch those cabinets
Pad the floors
Cover the glass
Watch those doors

Baby's walking
Here to there
Will have stuff
Strewn everywhere!

Walt, this is precious! Loved the rhythm of it. I bet you sing to him all the time, don't you?

Babyproofing tip: Get down on your hands and knees and crawl through your house and yard. Anything you can reach, so can he.

This is adorable Walt...sounds to me that you've got the right idea..definantly cover the electrical outlets!!! They give you the innocent face one minute, then sneak behind you to reek havok!!!lol Good luck sir...sounds as if you'll need it!!!!
