Grains Of Sand As grains of sand tossed to the wind are the souls of the earth. The brightness of their caliber will depend on there self worth. As grains of sand in an hourglass each has its place underneath the stars, though no plan did one give for guidance to follow. Destiny being our fate, those that were tossed about fervently are blessed, those dimly lit are to fight life’s battles seemingly alone. Growth and change depend on the individual, limited vision is our own design, aiming for the stars our only choice. Given choice still does not mean the soul posses the strength to proceed, or to endure that which destiny has lay before us. Wisdom taken deep within will give brightness to a dimly lit path, choice was granted but no basis for a Foundation was laid. Choice then being our own to proceed with caution our aim, we strive towards our desired destiny, hopefully graced with brightly lit paths. By, Cerenity |

An interesting poem on choice and destiny I like the image of the grains of sand "Love is the only drug you can take that will convince you each time that you've never had it before." ~author unknown~ |

Cerenity~ I was reminded of these words as I read your poem .... which is very wisely done. 'To see a world in a grain of sand And a heaven in a wildflower Hold infinity in the palm of your hand, And eternity in an hour.' William Blake Peace and hugs. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
