The Immortals Looking at our elders its easy to see That their beauty grows eternally Lines on their faces that map the years Formed in laughter Birthed through tears Wondering at just what price Our happiness became their sacrifice Yet to busy to lend a listening ear Ashamed of the wisdom we are afraid to hear Gazing at this beauty of the majesty called age So unappreciated An unturned page Of knowledge Experience Such a wonderful story this ageless beauty Is my Gods Glory! by Lance T.
