This was written last summer. I was sleeping peacefully in a hotel room until one am... when my next door neighbor decided he must listen to USA network at a decibel level that rivaled that of the Concorde. I heard several people... including hotel staff... ask him to please have some consideration for other guests... but the pleas were to no avail. With sleep no longer an option, I spent my time being grateful I only had to put up with the moron for one night... which led, of course, to great sympathy for anyone unfortunate enough to be stuck with him for life. *S*

Erotic dreams
Tossing and turning
Seeking fulfillment
Aching, yearning.
Fantasies flame
These sheets should catch fire.
Still it's only you
Can quench this desire.
But you snore away
No interest in learning
Just who this is
Beside you burning.
I don't cuddle my pillow...
It helps block the noises
Through a night of regretting
All my lousy choices.

Suthern: Howdy Lady... yep, slept next door to that same guy a time or two.  Even if it were at the cost of a good night's sleep, at least he led to some fine inspiration. Words of wisdom to carefully query our options before we choose.

Hope you're doing well these days. My best to you and yours.

Hilarious! There are many out there who could have provided the material for this one. You write so well, dear

LOL Suthern, even though upset, my dear your humor comes shining through! Sympathy for the one who has to be with him for life! LOL
That's a good one.  But look what that moron inspired in you...
Good if this came out, but I hope you never have to be next door to him again.

Clever, witty, but also unfortunately I think it has the sting of truth!!!

I've known some guys like this one..(but not for long!!)
