Here it is another day More chances to push me away You think it's wrong to want to be One together you and me I love you very much My body longs for your touch Why do you have to question It gives me the wrong impression Here it is another night And so goes my plight I try to move a little nearer Hoping that your heart is dearer Maybe we can set things aside To allow expression for what's inside Together we could create A state where we realte Here it is another day What more do I have to say Thoughts of you fill my head Us together and in bed Two hearts merge into one The bliss created is second to none Isn't it plain to see This is our destiny Friends are friend forever if the Lord's the Lord of them and a friend will not say never cause the welcome will not end. --Michael W. Wolf, superb poem.. bumps in a relationship are tough, very well thought out, and I love the rhyming scheme. "So close, no matter how far, couldn't be much more from the heart, forever trusting who we are, and nothing else matters" -Metallica- |

This is a lovely poem. I hope it works out okay for you. The tragedy of it is that nobody sees the look of desperation on my face. Thousands and thousands of us, and we're passing one another without a look of recognition. |

The closest love is often the one we take for granted, the one that will always be there so why "try"....your words are the voice to the song my heart hums. You wrote this with the grace of an angel. |

perfection in poetry LW...such sweet devotion in this...and excellent rhyme flow...very nice work. take care, jm Do you live by the book, do you play by the rules Do you care what is thought by others about you If this day is all that is promised to you Do you live for the present, the future the past... tracy chapman |

Butterflies...You are so right that we do take love for granted at times. It is only when that love is withdrawn that we miss it and realize what a great thing we had. Hopefully, it is not too late. Thank you so much for the angel comment. It is what he used to call me.... Cheryl...always is hard, but I guess we keep trying because maybe someday that person will return our love tenfold. Thanks. JM...thank you. The rhyme and flow just poured out one day. I am hopelessly devoted to my beloved even if the feelings are not always the same. He did think this was very nice though.
