There He Was Singing Before Me There he was singing before me with his country voice words grabbing me caressing my every inch with song my half shut eyes opened and focused on the television there singing this song was a man I sweetly just watched Words grabbing me caressing my every inch with song lost in his world of music I soared through skies of delight for just a moment dreaming of being his object of affection knowing in a few minutes the song over and reality reigns My half shut eyes opened and focused on the television he did something to my senses rode them away gallantly just simple words strung in rhythm with simple acoustics had me dining in his graceful sound for the minutes ahead Knowing in a few minutes the song over and reality reigns yet my mind desires more fulfillment from this sole artist my eyes open and searching for what I possessed for him there he was singing before me with his country voice [This message has been edited by Lost Dreamer (edited 03-29-2000).] |

Poet deVine: When I figure it out I will let you know, I was distracted right at the end of the video and could not catch the details, and believe me I am going crazy, thank you for reading, glad you liked it. Elizabeth: Thank you kindly, glad you enjoyed. Marge: Thanks for reading, glad you were able to feel the feelings, now I'm going back hunting for this vocal artist. |

Wow - sounds like you were swept away there, Gloria. It's amazing the power of music combined with television... I used to wait all day for a Lita Ford video to come on MTV when I was like 16 or 17...LOL My first true love I think - a woman who could play guitar too. That's all I was lookin at too, I swear. Sorry for the nostalgic moment... But thanks, your poem carried me back. michael |

Munda: Still crazy after all these hours...LOL Thank you glad you liked it passing shadows: Yes I am coming to find that out as I watch this music channel waiting to hear and see him again...LOL Thanks for reading glad you could return to your memories. Nan, As soon as I know all of you will know and we can all go visit him together...LOL dsnyder: Oh yes, amazingly so maybe I should send him this poem when I find him...LOL Lone Wolf: Thank You, and yes one of those unexplainable things. Michael: Was I that obvious...LOL Thanks for reading and responding and glad I refreshed your memory of days gone by. I am in a real crazy mood right now so if some of my responses sound obnoctious I am sorry, I don't mean them that way I'm just really in a grand mood. Could it be the mystery singer or am I just crazy...LOL Don't ask Munda she'll tell you I'm nuts. |

This is a beautiful poem! Yes, I know a lot about the impact music can have on one's life. I couldn't get through a day without listening to at least one beautiful song, and after all, songs are just poems set to music... good songs are, anyway! Anyway, keep up the good work! Amazing how a song can do that to ya. Or was it more the amazement of the person Whatever it was, you've written that out well, touched and awed. Great one, I love it! |

LoveBug:Thank You very much, I don't often listen to country music, but I think I have found a new inspiration. Ruth: I would love to go see him in concert with you, i hope we get front row tickets, no forget that, then I would have a hard time keeping myself off the stage...LOL Nan, Sorry, I think I was asleep when he would have been on, but I will figure it out sooner or later. Rebecca: It was his music first then the words and last but not least his looks just swept me away and there was no coming back or so I wish...LOL Thanks for enjoying and your kind words. |
