As I walk along this sandy path my skies are vivid blue; Searching for my one true love, but all I find is you. The deepness of your bright blue eyes, the laughter in your smile; The warm feeling of your soft touch, enduring quite awhile. Helping me through hard times, and ceasing all the pain; Everything that once was, now diminutive as a grain. Every single thought of you floating with the breeze; Singing songs of happiness, just like the birds and bees. The day comes and the day goes, then so lonesome at night; As fast as a petal falls from a rose, you come and make it right. Reaching out to touch your hand, you begin to fade away; As the morn' comes, you have to go, and I long for you to stay. Though when I lay in bed at night, the stars so brightly gleam; Funny how these thoughts of you, are nothing but a dream. |

Jenna~ Again I am drawn to the beauty of your words. Softly placed upon the page, they reflect a reflection of your heart. Dream on - for sometimes dreams come true. And even when they don't .. they give us a reason to smile in recalling. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Jenna, Beautiful touching words. I love this one!! I agree with Marge....hang in there because dreams do come true. Maybe not when we would like, but it does happen. Looking forward to reading more of your work. Friends are friend forever if the Lord's the Lord of them and a friend will not say never cause the welcome will not end. --Michael W. Smith |
