A Tear needs a Hug ~~~ The summer night can lose it's glitter when thoughts no longer touch the sky Earthbound cares can turn to worries when partnered with a weary sigh some vain repinings from our storms teach us to stop and search within The hearts we think we've lost forever are merely just beneath our skin ~~~ I'm not ugly! I'm just visually challenged! |

BEAUTIFUL thoughts here...lovely presentation as well, very nice... the last lines are perfection.. take care, jm Do you live by the book, do you play by the rules Do you care what is thought by others about you If this day is all that is promised to you Do you live for the present, the future the past... tracy chapman |

I love the title..it drew me to this poem (and the fact that I have read a couple of other of yours..although this is sooooo different from THe REaper!! lol) Anyway the final lines The hearts we think we've lost forever are merely just beneath our skin are what does it for me!! So true...love may be gone but some people are always there , still inside us "What is a friend? A single soul dwelling in two bodies." -Aristotle |

Rex~ Much sentiment I find in this one~ Your talent shines through ~ Marie~ "Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind; And therefore is wing'd Cupid painted blind." The Bard |

You wonderful people ... I've been busy all weekend and now just got here to check on things ... to find this many wonderful replies to my poem was totaly unexpected ... I'm at a loss for words ... It would take me an hour or more to respond to you all individualy ... and you all deserve my heartfelt thanks I wrote this feeling sorry for myself at the loss of my first wife ... along with another verse ... it was meant for her ... but never delivered ... just as well though I'm much happier now with my true love and family Thanks again Rex}>{{{{o> |
